The brushless electric generator's design offers long life and eliminates not only wear parts and slip rings, but also rust and sparks due to special alternator and engine features.  It allows for a light weight rotor to protect the bearings and provides superior reduction in repair costs and maintenance time.  The condenser type regulator has the capacity to withstand large starting currents and absorbs surge and noise created by power tools with on/off switches and brush motors.  The alternator is protected from rain and moisture by a sheltered air inlet on the end cover and an indirect air flow to the windings.
