Metering Ball Valve with EPDM Seals for Cold Water & Soaps – Series 523
The Series 523 Ball Valves are metering ball valves made out of PVC, CPVC or PP (choose your size & material above) for low pressure systems.
They come standard with stainless steel threaded inserts for easier and more secure mounting.
For chemical resistant FPM sealed metering ball valves please see GF523-FPM.
An integrated index plate shows the stoke in degrees with an indicator arrow, attached to the valve handle. The plate also shows correct flow direction with the indicator arrow.
The V-notch design helps to have much better control of the flow compared to 90 degrees V-notches – even at low flow amount.

The Type 523 Ball Valves utilize true union with floating ball design, where the ball is fully molded with 180 degree tapered V-Notch groove. The stem is blowout proof with a double o-ring seal and predetermined break point opposite of the stem seals.
The seat carrier is reverse threaded and adjustable, while the handle is not only for the opening and closing of the ball valve, but also a removal tool. Ball seats have an elastomeric backing o-ring with the remaining seals inside the ball valve being of the same material.
All valves are tested in accordance to ISO9393 and designed to ISO16135 standards. These valves are manufactured for quality under ISO9001 and for environmental management under ISO14001.
Every valve is tested and certified meeting and exceeding Class VI standards.
